Scam and fraud warning - raise awareness and be safe!

🚨 SCAM AND FRAUD WARNING 🚨

We are continuing to receive reports of scammers posing as banks, police officers and other trusted organisations in an attempt to steal money and personal information.

Please remember:

❌ Your bank will NEVER ask you to send your bank cards through the post or via a courier.
❌ Your bank will NEVER ask for your PIN, full password or one-time security codes.
❌ The police will NEVER ask you to transfer money to a 'safe account'.
❌ The police will NEVER ask for your banking details or request payment over the phone.

✅ If you receive an unexpected call, text, email or message claiming to be from your bank or the police, stop and think.
✅ Do not feel pressured into making quick decisions.
✅ End the call and contact the organisation directly using a trusted number from their official website or the back of your bank card.
✅ Speak to a trusted friend or family member if you are unsure.

Remember: If it feels wrong, it probably is.
