Cannabis Farm Discovered in Partington

Cannabis Farm Discovered in Partington

Good Evening

While carrying out proactive patrols in Partington, officers’ attention was drawn to a strong smell of cannabis coming from an insecure property.

Following further enquiries, officers entered the address and discovered a cannabis cultivation setup inside. Several cannabis plants were found hanging in a bedroom drying, indicating the property had been being used for the production of illegal drugs.

The cultivation of cannabis often brings with it a range of issues for local communities, including anti-social behaviour, exploitation and an increased risk of fire due to unsafe electrical modifications.

Thanks to the vigilance of officers on patrol, the cannabis farm has now been identified and disrupted, preventing further criminality and helping to keep our communities safe.
