🚔 Darker Nights Are Here - Stay Safe This Autumn 🍂 |
||
|
As the clocks have gone back and evenings are getting darker earlier, we're encouraging everyone to take a few simple steps to stay safe and help protect their property. ✅ Stick to well-lit and busy routes when walking, particularly if you're travelling alone. ✅ Make yourself visible by wearing bright or reflective clothing when walking, running, or cycling after dark. ✅ Keep valuables out of sight and be aware of your surroundings, especially in busy public places. ✅ Lock doors, windows, and vehicles, even if you're only leaving them for a short time. ✅ Look out for elderly or vulnerable neighbours who may feel more isolated during the darker months. ✅ Report any suspicious activity in your area. Your information could help prevent crime and keep our communities safe. As your local Safer Neighbourhood Team, we're continuing to carry out high-visibility patrols and work with residents and partners to tackle crime and anti-social behaviour. 📞 999 if a crime is in progress or there is an immediate danger. 📞 101 for non-emergencies or to report concerns online. Together we can help keep our neighbourhoods safe this autumn and winter. #SaferNeighbourhoods #CommunitySafety #StaySafe #NeighbourhoodPolicing #CrimePrevention #KeepingLondonSafe 🍁🚔 | ||
