One male arrested for PWITS Class B

During our Autumn Nights patrols, your local Safer Neighbourhood Team spotted two vehicles acting suspiciously in an area known for drug-related activity.

As officers approached, both vehicles attempted to make off. One vehicle was stopped and the occupant searched, leading to the discovery of around £3,000 in cash. A large box located beside the vehicle was also recovered, containing a significant quantity of herbal cannabis.

The male was arrested on suspicion of Possession with Intent to Supply Class B drugs and remains under investigation.

We will continue to target those involved in criminality and take positive action to keep our communities safe.
