Dear Resident, Offering the audience the chance to step into a world of adventure, enchantment and unforgettable music, the BPSO returns to the city's Symphony Hall on Saturday, 5 December. The evening, hosted by former police officer Danny Mizon from 7pm, will feature music from Aladdin, Shrek, The Lord of the Rings, Hansel and Gretel and The Sorcerer's Apprentice, before culminating in a rousing Proms-style finale complete with an indoor fireworks display. The BPSO is a unique orchestra made up of serving and retired police officers, police staff and members of the wider policing family with all the musicians volunteering their time and using their music to connect with communities while showcasing the human side of policing through the power of performance. Nik Adams, Chair of Trustees of the British Police Symphony Orchestra, said: "Our Proms Night Spectacular is always a highlight of the year, bringing together exceptional musicians, community spirit and fantastic entertainment. This year's theme of fairytales, folklore and fantasy promises an unforgettable evening for audiences of all ages." Tickets for the concert, which is supported by NicheRMS365, are available at bpso.org.uk or by calling 0121 289 3333.
