|
On THURSDAY 5th NOVEMBER 2026 at 1630HRS on NORTHWOOLWICH ROAD E16, PS Damon MOORE and PC Paul BLIZNIUKAS were on mobile patrols in an unmarked vehicle when they noticed a black AUDI driving along with three occupants inside. After checks were conducted on the vehicle it was confirmed to have no insurance. The vehicle was stopped and the driver spoken to who had admitted to knowing their insurance had expired and continued to drive regardless. The vehicle was seized for having no insurance and the driver reported.
Driving without insurance can have serious legal, financial and personal consequences. Those caught can face a £300 fixed penalty, six penalty points on their driving licence and potentially an unlimited fine or driving disqualification.
Our team continues to work alongside specialist Road Policing Teams and councils, following concerns raised of dangerous or inconsiderate driving on NORTH WOOLWICH ROAD, FACTORY ROAD and WESTERN GATEWAY.
