Remembrance Sunday in lees

Remembrance Sunday in lees

Today, I had the privilege of taking part in the Remembrance Sunday parade in Lees and was honoured to lay a wreath on behalf of Greater Manchester Police in memory of all those who have served, sacrificed, been wounded, or lost their lives in conflicts past and present.

It was wonderful to see such a large turnout from the local community, with hundreds of residents coming together to pay their respects. The ceremony was both moving and dignified, reflecting the gratitude and remembrance that this important day represents.

Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make the event such a fitting tribute. It was inspiring to see our community united in remembrance.

Lest we forget.
