Remembrance Sunday | Ilford War Memorial Gardens

Today, officers from Barkingside Safer Neighbourhood Team were honoured to attend the Remembrance Sunday service at the Ilford War Memorial, joining local residents, veterans, community groups and partner organisations in paying tribute to the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

As we observed the two-minute silence, we reflected on the courage, dedication and selflessness of those who served, and those who continue to serve today. Their legacy reminds us of the importance of unity, respect and community spirit.

We are proud to stand alongside our community in remembering them.
