Resident Good Evening,
This is your weekly round up from the Pleck neighbourhood team and we have had another busy Set of 6!
Officers attended a coffee morning at Pleck methodist church to engage with members of the community and help with any local concerns. Visit to the holiday inn to provide reassurance at a previous hot spot for vehicle theft and to also keep an eye on any potential issues that occur within the area at the time we are there. Officers also attended a Diwali celebration event at the Shree Ram Mandir. There was a huge turn out and officers stayed to ensure there were no problems. Alarms and leaflets were also handed out to members of the community at the event. Reedswood Sons of Rest Talbot House community centre was also visited to continue our strong community partnership with the centre.
Multiple stop searches have been conducted this set. Also, various positive outcomes and drugs have been seized as well as offenders have been dealt with. Multiple Officers have seized multiple different vehicles this week for reasons such as driving without insurance and no road tax. Theft from a motor vehicle has occurred on Berkley Street and Raleigh Street. Also theft of a motor vehicle has occurred on Raleigh Street.
VEHICLE CRIME We are having some issues over the last few weeks with individuals trying car doors and getting into vehicles. Items have also been taken. We would like to urge everyone to ensure that you are locking your car doors and also keeping valuable items out of your vehicles to prevent this happening to you. If you have any information on any potential individuals then please email us on pleck@westmidlands.police.uk
FUTURE PACT MEETING We have our pact meeting on 26/11/26 at Nash Dom Community Hub, Sun Street, Walsall, WS1 4AL from 17:00-19:00 hours. This is an event where you can come down and tell us all your local concerns and potential priority issue areas so we can target these problems in the near future.
